Back to our laptop with the livecd running. I choose the installer icon from the desktop which launches the anaconda installer, and here is where I just select the defaults except for partitioning. I learned from my many installs to set /home on a seperate partition so that future upgrades can be performed without losing all of my personal files. I will perform the rest of the install from the command line after anaconda installs the default system.
